Job summary

Banco Santander S.A. in Madrid seeks a Structured Notes Platform Development & Automation Associate / Vice President to design, scale, and automate a global structured-notes issuance platform.

You will translate regulatory, documentary and operational needs into robust tech solutions, driving automation and resilience across MTN issuance vehicles and open multi-dealer platforms. Qualifications

• Knowledge of structured products, derivatives and front-to-back issuance processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into process designs, user stories and test scenarios.
• Experience with workflow platforms, connectivity, data structures and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional design and delivery of platform enhancements for structured-notes issuance across end-to-end lifecycle.
• Coordinate technology delivery with Product Owners, Tech, Operations and external providers.
• Drive market readiness for new products, platform capabilities and distribution channels.
• Develop document-generation and data-driven workflows to improve data quality and traceability.
• Identify bottlenecks and redesign processes to increase straight-through processing and control.
