Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to high-performance distributed systems within a Stream-Aligned product team. You will work on R&D and core product initiatives, delivering state-of-the-art software solutions in collaboration with international teams.

The role emphasizes C++ on Linux, DDS, Qt GUI development, and end-to-end feature ownership with modern development practices and thorough testing.

Formación

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in software development, high-performance applications.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with C++ on Linux, CMake, and Git.
• Nice to have: Qt, DDS, GoogleTest/Catch2.

Responsabilidades

• Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient C++ code on Linux.
• Implement data-centric interfaces and DDS-based architectures.
• Develop GUI using the Qt framework (Quick, QML, Widgets).
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features using trunk-based development.
• Implement TDD with unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Document software architectures, APIs, and DDS data models.
