Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Senior Software Simulation Engineer to lead the design, development and management of advanced software simulations for the Spanish Trainer. You will deliver training in Spanish and contribute across the full lifecycle from requirements to system integration in real-time environments.

The role requires expert C++ programming, deep knowledge of memory management and concurrent systems, and experience with Linux, Docker, Conan and Make files.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience with strict software development lifecycles (AQAP, DO-178C, or similar).
• Strong testing framework experience and understanding of V-Model development cycles and integration into complex simulation environments or embedded avionics systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, and management of advanced software simulations for Spanish Trainer.
• Deliver training on these solutions in Spanish.
• Provide hands-on integration into large-scale simulators or avionics HIL environments.
• Define test strategies (including automated test suites) and conduct peer code reviews.
• Collaborate on feasibility studies to optimize pilot training.
