Responsibilities

Preply creates human-led, tech-enabled learning experiences that connect learners with tutors and support personalised learning journeys. Its platform serves more than 100,000 tutors teaching over 90 languages to learners in 180 countries.

Задачи:

• Own strategic transformation projects end-to-end, typically spanning 3–12 months, with business impact across the company


• Lead cross-functional teams in defining strategy, scoping workstreams, and driving accountability for outcomes


• Conduct data-driven analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities, diagnose business challenges, and recommend strategic directions


• Assess and prioritize market opportunities, potential partnerships, and M&A targets based on strategic fit and business impact


• Influence senior leaders, build shared ownership, and drive decisions without formal authority


• Coordinate complex initiatives across product, marketing, operations, and other functions; align stakeholders and proactively flag and resolve risks


• Translate ambiguity into clear scopes and action plans; manage parallel workstreams and focus on measurable business outcomes


• Produce data-backed narratives for leadership and the board, tailoring messages to different audiences


• Present findings and recommendations clearly and confidently

Требования:

• 7+ Years of experience in strategy, operations, or leading cross-functional strategic initiatives


• Proven track record owning strategic projects or transformation initiatives from scope to delivery


• Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of marketplace dynamics, business models, monetization, and growth mechanics, and connecting strategy to financial outcomes


• Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking, including structuring ambiguous problems, prioritizing based on strategic logic, and connecting insights to business outcomes


• Ability to influence across functions, challenge constructively, build buy-in without authority, and diplomatically manage competing stakeholder interests


• Excellent executive presence and communication, including presenting complex ideas clearly in high-stakes forums; strong written and verbal communication


• Actively use AI to accelerate analysis, research, and strategic work; able to name specific tools and explain how they have changed your approach


• Action-oriented and resourceful; comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving with imperfect information


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; deliver polished work and follow through on commitments


• Based in Barcelona or London; Barcelona is preferred
