Job summary
Markel Spain in Madrid is seeking a Business Transformation and Data Manager to lead transformation projects across Southern Europe. You will bridge Operations, Technology, Data and Business stakeholders, delivering scalable data solutions and governance while shaping the Southern Europe TOM.
The role requires 5–10 years in transformation, fluency in Spanish and English, and experience in regulated financial services. Madrid office-based with a strong bonus and benefits package.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years in Business Analysis, Technology or Transformation.
- Experience in insurance or financial services; cross-country initiatives.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; Italian/Portuguese an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead business transformation and process excellence initiatives across Southern Europe region.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs for system integration and automation.
- Coordinate projects across Operations & IT, Finance, Underwriting, Claims and European Data teams.
- Support data engineers and analysts to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Work with IT to ensure solutions meet standards and are implemented effectively.
- Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and management information for executive reporting.
