Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead in Barcelona to develop and implement delivery strategies across the RFP/bid defense cycle. You will bridge sales, medical, and operations to ensure successful project execution, guide teams, and support business growth.

The role requires deep knowledge of biopharma, clinical research, regulatory guidelines, and strong leadership to drive strategic delivery in a fast-paced CRO environment. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences and global clinical research experience (director level) including hands-on operational delivery and/or drug development experience in the applicable therapeutic area (Cardiology).
• Deep and current knowledge of scientific, clinical operations, real-world, regulatory, operational, commercial and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Operations, and other functions to develop tailor-made strategies for proposals and projects.
• Scan therapeutic and operational landscape to develop long-term implementation strategies and maximize value.
• Maintain understanding of current and future market trends impacting delivery strategies.
• Act as champion for project centricity and enable project teams to implement sold strategies.
• Guide and mentor Project Leaders to present strategy to clients and stakeholders.
