Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Regional Commodity Leader, Raw Materials (EMEA) to drive sourcing strategy for critical spend across Europe factories.

You will lead supplier negotiations, allocation, and continuity plans while guiding modernization and cost-reduction initiatives across steel, copper, and other metals. With a master’s degree and extensive experience in commodity management, you will interact with senior leadership and influence profitability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Significant experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of metal commodities (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper).
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Executive presence with senior leadership communication.
• English and Spanish proficiency; French a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% across Europe.

• Develop and implement EMEA sourcing strategies aligned with global commodity objectives.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract renewals, and strategic commercial agreements.
• Define supplier allocation, dual-sourcing, and business continuity strategies.
• Drive localization and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance competitiveness.
• Manage a raw materials portfolio exceeding $100M and deliver financial targets.
• Monitor commodity markets and provide strategic insights and risk plans.
• Build executive-level supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Support data-driven decision-making through dashboards, cost models, and market intelligence.
