Job summary

Otis is seeking a highly motivated Regional Commodity Leader for Raw Materials (EMEA) to drive sourcing strategy for critical metals across Europe. You will manage a $100M portfolio, negotiate with suppliers, and lead dual-sourcing and continuity plans, reporting to senior leadership.

The role requires a Master’s degree, deep experience in strategic sourcing, and fluency in English and Spanish, with travel across Europe 20–30%.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Significant experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of metal commodities (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper).
• Executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership.
• English & Spanish proficiency; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% around Europe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EMEA sourcing strategies aligned with global commodity objectives.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract renewals, and strategic commercial agreements.
• Define supplier allocation, dual-sourcing, and business continuity strategies to ensure supply resilience.
• Drive localization and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance competitiveness and mitigate market risks.
• Manage a raw materials portfolio exceeding $100M and deliver productivity and financial performance targets.
• Monitor commodity markets and industry trends, providing strategic insights and risk mitigation plans.
• Build and manage executive-level supplier relationships, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Support data-driven decision‑making through commodity dashboards, cost models, financial analysis, and market intelligence.
