Alstom in Madrid seeks a Project Commodity Buyer to shape sourcing strategies for tendered and live projects. You will lead supplier selection, evaluation, and performance, perform market analyses, and negotiate terms to secure competitive advantages for mobility solutions.

Join a cross-functional team across engineering, supply chain and project management. The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, SAP experience, and strong negotiation and analytical skills in a dynamic project environment.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing and project procurement environments
• Intermediate to advanced English level
• Experience working with SAP

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute sourcing strategies for tenders and projects
• Lead supplier selection, evaluation and performance management
• Conduct market analysis to identify competitive sourcing alternatives
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and contractual terms
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage supplier non-conformities and claims resolution
• Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project deliveries
• Drive procurement performance through cost optimisation and risk management
