Barclays in Madrid is seeking a Payments & Cash Management Specialist to drive growth in our European cash management franchise. You will support Relationship Directors in identifying and monetising complex domestic and cross-border cash opportunities, contributing to product development and strategic enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash origination business development or sales.
• Knowledge of Spanish and European corporate and financial markets.
• Experience in cash management, liquidity and global payment solutions.
• Experience in sales management; pipeline and stakeholder management.
• Solid commercial understanding of deposits and money transmission.
• Experience in risk, compliance and regulatory governance.
• Cash sales cycle management and pipeline planning, analytical and strategic thinking.

Responsabilités

• Identify potential customers, analyze their needs and stay abreast of market trends and competitor strategies.
• Create detailed profiles for target customer segments, outlining demographics, financial habits, and pain points for tailored sales approaches.
• Relationship management of potential and existing customers through high-quality support, responding to queries and resolving issues.
• Understand features, benefits, risks and compliance requirements of banking products and services; communicate insights clearly to customers.
• Develop compelling sales pitches and proposals to convert leads into customers and negotiate terms beneficial for the client and bank.
• Collect feedback on products and services to inform reports and sales strategies for stakeholders.
• Monitor lead conversion rates and customer acquisition costs to assess performance and drive improvements.
