Job summary

Tetra Pak in Arganda del Rey, Spain is seeking an engineer to join as a Services Sales Specialist. The role focuses on identified opportunities in services, requires technical insight, and travel ~30% to engage customers.

You will translate engineering capabilities into value-driven service solutions, drive the sales funnel end-to-end, and collaborate with portfolio and product teams to grow net sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in processing engineering or technical sales in a corporate environment.
• Degree in engineering with practical experience in food industry processing.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese valued.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow business opportunities in your area of expertise, contributing directly to net sales and profitability targets.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into technical–commercial solutions, building strong value propositions that connect engineering performance with business impact.
• Drive the sales funnel end to end, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to solution design, quotation, customer presentation, negotiation, and deal closure in alignment with Sales Managers.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, combining technical understanding with a value-selling approach to support decision-making and long-term partnerships.
• Generate and nurture new opportunities through proactive customer engagement, cross-selling and upselling relevant products and services.
• Support customer workshops, presentations, webinars, and commercial initiatives to create interest and expand pipeline in specific categories or segments.
• Collaborate on account plans and sales objectives together with Services KAMs, ensuring strong execution and follow-through.
• Contribute to product deployment plans in close partnership with Portfolio Management, helping bring new service offers successfully to market.
• Identify portfolio gaps, market needs, and improvement opportunities based on customer interactions, and channel those insights to Product Managers, Sales Support, and Portfolio teams.
• Work across internal and external interfaces, including suppliers and market-level stakeholders, to strengthen solution availability and commercial execution.
• Commercial Compliance: Understand & comply with Tetra Pak's Commercial practices framework (including Pricing, Contract terms & Authorisation matrix), regulatory framework & general code of conduct. Manage proper & timely documentation of Customer Files.
