Barsento is seeking a Financial & Accounting Project Controller to oversee the full accounting cycle and project financial control for the Madrid Arena development, a capital-intensive, multi-stakeholder initiative.

This senior role requires autonomy and rigorous governance, delivering reliable financial information to shareholders and leaders across finance, development, construction, legal and operations, while working in a hybrid Madrid setting.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Controller, Accounting Controller, Project Controller or similar.
• Experience managing full accounting cycle with high autonomy.
• Experience in financial control of major construction or asset-development projects.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP.
• CAPEX control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, variance analysis and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong planning and organizational skills and professional judgement.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full accounting cycle for project entities incl. closes and tax.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, cash flow and commentary.
• Oversee construction-in-progress asset register and CAPEX capitalization.
• Coordinate audits with tax, legal and accounting advisers.
• Develop multi-year financial plan and monitor budgets vs actuals.
• Prepare project reports and KPI tracking for shareholders and lenders.
