Barsento SL seeks a senior Financial & Accounting Project Controller for the Madrid Arena project. You will own full-cycle accounting, CAPEX/OPEX control, and multi-year financial planning in a large-scale, capital-intensive setting.

You will report to project leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, legal, and construction. The role emphasizes autonomy, financial rigour, and clear communication of financial implications to stakeholders.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Financial/Project Controller or similar roles.
• Experience in financial control of construction, real estate, infrastructure or large-scale capital projects; >€100m investments ideal.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, planning and reporting skills; ability to communicate with non-financial stakeholders.
• Very high level of professional English is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full accounting cycle for project entities, including closes and financial statements.
• Manage project budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX control, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare periodic project reporting and KPI dashboards for shareholders and lenders.
• Coordinate audits and ensure robust financial governance and internal controls.
• Translate technical developments into financial implications for decision-making.
