Barsento SL is seeking a Senior Financial & Accounting Project Controller for the Madrid Arena project. This hybrid role combines full-cycle accounting ownership with project financial control for a major capital investment in Madrid.

You will manage accounting, budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX, cash flow, and management reporting while collaborating with shareholders and cross-functional teams.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in Financial/Project Controller roles.
• Experience in full accounting cycle with high autonomy.
• Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure or large-scale capital projects (>€100m).
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Very high level of English is essential for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full accounting cycle for project entities, including postings, reconciliations, accruals and monthly closes.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and supporting commentary.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, forecasts and management reporting.
• Develop multi-year financial plans and monitor budgets against actuals.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with tax, legal and accounting advisers.
• Provide financial insight to shareholders and project leadership for decision-making.
• Translate contracts and technical developments into financial implications.
