Barsento is recruiting a senior Finance professional to lead full-cycle accounting and project financial control for the Madrid Arena project. You will own accounting, budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX control, forecasting and management reporting, collaborating with shareholders and multidisciplinary teams across finance, development and operations.

The role requires autonomous decision-making, rigorous financial governance and a strong command of English in an international environment.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrable experience managing the full accounting cycle, including financial statements and closes
• Experience in financial control of construction, real estate, infrastructure or large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP
• CAPEX control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, variance analysis and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills, accuracy and detail
• Very high level of professional English is essential
• English proficiency is a core requirement for the role

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounting cycle for project entities, including postings, reconciliations and closes
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX control for the project
• Develop and maintain multi-year financial plan with scenarios
• Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with advisers
• Provide robust project reporting to shareholders, lenders and governance bodies
• Support governance with strong internal controls and procedures
