Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) is seeking a Collections Officer in Lisbon to strengthen cash flow, reduce overdue balances and manage Accounts Receivable across markets. You will partner with Sales, Credit Management, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve payment challenges within an international setting.

The role focuses on end-to-end collections, dispute resolution, and data-driven prioritization. English fluency is essential; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Management, or a similar finance function.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA; FSCM knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English; other languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer portfolios to meet collection targets and support cash flow.
• Execute end-to-end collection and dunning activities with timely follow‑ups on overdue balances.
• Investigate and resolve complex payment allocations, including unapplied receipts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Credit Management and Customer Service to resolve disputes.
• Analyze Accounts Receivable ageing and implement action plans to reduce overdue debt.
• Prepare portfolio reports and drive process improvements and automation.
