Euro Auctions in Zaragoza is seeking a Stock Controller to manage all auction stock inventory, from diggers and dump trucks to cars and crushers, in our outdoor yard.

The role requires accurate data entry, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment; you will organise stock for auctions, photograph items, and handle customer inquiries. Overtime rate applies and a Christmas shutdown is observed.

Formación

• Experience with heavy plant, mining or quarry equipment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Good data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using stock management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy equipment as required for yard duties.
• Load/unload machines and equipment with care.
• Prepare stock for auction and organise the yard.
• Perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

This is not your typical Stock Controller job; here, the Stock Controller manages all auction stock inventory from diggers and dump trucks to cars and crushers. This is an important role as accurate Stock Control is crucial to the smooth running of the auction.

Key Activities:

• This is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment.
• Precise loading and unloading of machines, forklift training will be provided.
• Preparing Stock for Auction and organising the yard.
• Performing stock checks on a regular basis ensuring all stock is accounted for at all times.
• Photographing stock.
• Dealing with auction inquiries from customers and suppliers.

The Requirements

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Good data entry skills with attention to detail and ability to spell.
• Computer literate and experience using stock management systems.
• Knowledge of Stock Management processes, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate construction equipment.
• This is a customer-facing role requiring good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• This is a physically demanding, all-weathers role therefore applicants should be able to lift weights up to 25Kilos.
