Crown Equipment Corporation en Madrid busca un Rental Manager para dirigir el área de alquileres, alquileres usados y equipos usados. Se espera un perfil dinámico, proactivo y con ganas de aprender y crecer junto a nosotros.

Reportarás al Managing Director local y trabajarás con coordinadores de alquiler en diversas sucursales. Se valorará experiencia en gestión financiera y en liderazgo de equipos.

Formación

• Bilingüe: español e inglés (C1).
• Experiencia mínima de 2–4 años en roles relacionados de alquiler o gestión.
• Formación universitaria adecuada o equivalentemente 6+ años de experiencia si no se posee grado.
• Conocimientos de Excel y Word; habilidad para analizar datos y generar informes.

Responsabilidades

• Administrar el rendimiento financiero y operaciones diarias del área de Rental, Used Rental y Used Equipment.
• Revisar órdenes de servicio y supervisar trabajos de taller para calidad.
• Gestión de compras, ventas y transferencias entre sucursales para asegurar transacciones de alquiler o equipo usado.
• Participar en reuniones de ventas y ayudar en estrategias de cuentas.
• Mantener contacto directo con clientes y apoyar al equipo de ventas en visitas.
• Desarrollar a través de discusiones de desarrollo de talento y dirigir a los informes directos.
• Negociar términos con clientes y proveedores y promover programas promocionales.

JOB PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Manage the financial performance and day-to-day operations of the Rental, Used Rental, and Used Equipment department across all branch offices. Oversee inventories located at branch offices and customer sites. This position reports to the local Managing Director. Direct reports include Rental Coordinators located in the various branch offices.

KEY TASKS

Branch Rental and Used Equipment Management (45-50%)

Review all Rental and Used Equipment service orders before invoicing through the service department. Supervise all Used Equipment service (shop work) for quality and timeliness before shipment to the customer. Manage buying and selling of equipment for the branch office including engagement with Rental Managers in other countries for quick supply and opportunities to improve EMEA utilization. Manage Rental and Used Rental Equipment inventory, maintenance, and depreciation of equipment. Schedule, deliver, and pickup of all equipment. Track financial performance, identify variances, oversee rental repairs times and costs control, and implement appropriate corrective actions to improve operational performance to established corporate KPIs.

Sales Strategy Development and Coordination (10-20%)

Participate in sales meetings. May also plan account strategy with the salespeople individually or with other manager(s). Consult with Finance, other branches, vendors, and wholesalers on Rental and Used equipment. Oversee lease returns for the branch. Manage the buying, selling, and transferring of inventory with other branches to secure Rental or Used transactions. Set, review and/or approve pricing for rental rates and Used Equipment. Provide sales force with detailed information concerning Rental and Used equipment. May coordinate or participate in demonstration of equipment in the branch. Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals for Used equipment as necessary.

Service Accounts (15-20%)

Maintain direct and phone contact with current or prospective customers. Participate with the sales department on calls to Rental and Used Equipment customers. Accompany sales personnel to perform trade-in evaluations at customer facilities.

Employee Development (05-10%)

Perform duties such as conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and performing wage reviews. Responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities and to develop good working relationships with cross-functioning departments.

Miscellaneous (05-10%)

May oversee new quotations when Sales Managers are not available. May develop promotional programs for sales contests or advertisements. Negotiate terms with customers and wholesalers on pricing. Track utilization of equipment for marketing purposes. Ensure corporate policies and procedures are adhered to. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

2-4 years related experience

Associate degree (Business Marketing or technical studies)

Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma

Occasional travel (0-5%) Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

Job requires employee to drive a lift truck and car.

Spanish / English (C1 level)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Five years of prior experience with Company. Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word programs. Leadership, communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills. Able to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday. Valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Per 8-hour shift. Must be able to sit 5 hours, stand 2 hours, walk 1 hour, see, talk, and hear. Must be able to frequently keyboard and use mouse. Must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 kg, bend/stoop/twist, squat, reach below knee level, reach above shoulder level, climb stairs, climb ladders, grip/grasp, torque, work with arm outstretched, work above chest level, use vibratory tools, and pinch grip. Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and vehicles. Must have good binocular vision. Ability to distinguish colors preferred. Possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, solvents, fuels, battery acid, and noise pollution.
