SOGECLAIR DIGITAL ENGINEERING in Sevilla is seeking a Static Stress Engineer to validate FEM models and contribute to aeronautical structures. You will perform static analysis of metallic and composite components using FEM and extract loads and spectra from drawings.

You will guide junior engineers, prepare certification dossiers, and collaborate with design teams across international programs, leveraging MSC Nastran, Patran/HyperMesh, CATIA V5, and Airbus methods.

Formación

• More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with FEM and aerospace stress reporting is required.
• Familiarity with aerospace OEMs / Tier / Suppliers on stress activities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Define analysis methodologies and validate FEM models and stress reports.
• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM).
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior stress engineers.
• Extraction of loads, stresses, generation of spectra and mission files.
• Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part & assembly drawings.
• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes.
• Creation of FEMs using geometric data from part & assembly drawings.
• Preparation of stress certification dossiers.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency
