SOGECLAIR is seeking a Fatigue & DT Engineer (m/w/d) with more than 5 years of proven aerospace experience to join the Sevilla team.

You will perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures, assess crack initiation and growth, generate substantiation reports, and support structural modifications from an FDT perspective with international collaboration.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of proven Fatigue & DT analysis experience in the aerospace industry.
• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on specific stress activities.
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Assess crack initiation, crack growth and structural durability per Airbus practices.
• Generate fatigue substantiation reports and inspection threshold assessments.
• Support structural modifications and repairs from an FDT perspective.

We are looking for a Fatigue & DT Engineer (m/w/d) with more than 5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Sevilla.

Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

• Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures
• Assess crack initiation, crack growth and structural durability with hands‑on knowledge of Airbus standards and working practices
• Generate fatigue substantiation reports and inspection threshold assessments
• Support structural modifications and repairs from an F&DT perspective

Requirements

About you:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Fatigue & DT analysis in the aerospace industry in the aerospace industry
• Degree in (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency

• MSC Nastran
• Patran/HyperMesh
• CATIA V5
• Excel
• Python/VBA (valuable)
• Airbus methods and tools highly desirable
