Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - SRE to enhance the reliability of Grafana Cloud databases built on Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will work with embedded product squads to own production reliability for high‑SLA customers and design scalable, automated reliability solutions.

You should have 8+ years in engineering with 4+ in SRE/production, strong Kubernetes experience, and leadership abilities to mentor engineers and guide cross‑team

Formación

• 8+ years engineering experience, with 4+ in SRE/production engineering.
• Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure; IaC tooling familiarity (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet).
• Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Experience operating multi-tenant systems in production.
• Strong experience designing and implementing SLOs.

Responsabilidades

• Own production reliability for high‑SLA and complex customer environments.
• Lead incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to influence design.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and improve observability.
• Improve alert quality and reduce noisy escalations.
