• Technical leadership in multi-quarter initiatives
• Deep systems experience building/operating distributed data systems
• Go proficiency or strong experience with Go and systems languages
• Operational mindset with focus on SLOs, toil reduction, and automation

Responsabilidades

• Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives from problem framing through rollout.
• Own the architecture of core Tempo components: ingestion, storage, query, and metrics generation.
• Design APIs for humans and agents.
• Drive operational excellence with concrete SLOs and automated tooling.
• Partner with Product and sibling teams to understand consumption and unblock them.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
• Participate in on-call for the services you help build.
• Contribute to open source and steer Tempo in the open.
