Grafana Labs in Spain is seeking a Senior Software (Database) Engineer to help build the underlying storage system for a general purpose data platform. The role emphasizes autonomy, architectural pragmatism, and the ability to evolve from prototype to production-grade SaaS.

We value engineers who can design scalable, multi-tenant services while maintaining reliability and observability, and who are comfortable working in a remote-first environment with global collaboration.

Formación

• Production-grade software development experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and data warehouses.
• Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and observability tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership over and build parts of the database system including ingestion, query planning, and storage formats.
• Define multi-tenant SaaS architecture with isolation, quotas, and audit logs.
• Build APIs and interfaces for AI agents and internal tools to retrieve data quickly.
