Grafana Labs seeks a Staff Software Engineer – Identity and Access to shape authentication at the edge and drive scale. You will own architectural direction for the Identity squad and collaborate with leadership, product, and cross-functional partners to secure access for millions of users daily.

The role emphasizes Go backend development, leadership, and reliability in a remote-first, globally distributed company.

Formación

• Proven distributed systems engineering with Go.
• Experience designing authentication/authorization systems.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives across squads.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the technical architecture for the Identity squad’s authentication systems, including edge authentication redesign.
• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale initiatives spanning multiple services and teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and provide technical guidance and growth support.
• Act as technical authority for identity protocols (OAuth/OIDC/SAML/LDAP/SCIM) and secure implementation at scale.
