Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff-level Backend Engineer to build the first production services for a context layer management system, enabling AI agent access to enterprise context. You will design scalable backend architectures, handle ingestion, indexing, and retrieval, and own reliability in a highly autonomous team.

This is a remote opportunity open to applicants in multiple countries, with Spain as a focus for compensation disclosures.

Formación

• Strong production-grade software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AI technologies and practical implementations.
• Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiar with observability tools and reliability practices.
• Collaborative, proactive communicator.

Responsabilidades

• Build core backend services for context ingestion, indexing, retrieval, and APIs.
• Define multi-tenant SaaS architecture with isolation and quotas.
• Develop agent-facing retrieval workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate to balance rapid experimentation with long-term reliability.
• Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards.
