Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead Trust & Vault, securing card data and optimizing how it is used across every transaction. You will architect PCI‑compliant vaulting, authentication, and optimization capabilities while building resilient, scalable services.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with the CTO Office, and champion a You Build It, You Run It culture across multi‑tenancy and observability in production.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin.
• Proven track record architecting robust distributed systems.
• Experience with tokenization, vaulting, authentication, or PCI‑scoped infra is a plus.
• Strong testing practices across unit/integration/E2E in CI/CD.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own architecture of Trust & Vault across vaulting, authentication, and optimization.
• Lead multi‑team projects and mentor engineers within a YBIYRI culture.
• Design scalable, PCI‑compliant security solutions and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, CTO Office, and Staff Engineers to remove silos.
• Drive technical direction with versioned APIs and event‑driven design.
