Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead Trust & Vault. You will architect PCI‑compliant card vaulting, tokenization, and authentication systems, lifting authorization and acceptance rates across the platform.

This hands‑on leadership role emphasizes reliability, security, and scale in an AI‑native environment. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and CTO Office, and drive multi‑team projects to deliver secure, resilient infrastructure for global payments.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting robust, scalable distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design tokenization, vaulting, and PCI‑scoped infrastructure.
• Strong background with APIs (gRPC/REST) and cloud‑native patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS and cloud services (RDS, S3, ECS/EKS).
• Proven automated testing practices across CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership in mentoring engineers and driving technical vision.
• Advanced English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own domain architecture for Trust & Vault, including vaulting, authentication, and optimization.
• Build and evolve PCI‑compliant, bank‑grade systems at scale.
• Lead multi‑team efforts and mentor engineers across product and CTO Office.
• Ensure reliability and compliance while delivering feature velocity.
• Foster You Build It, You Run It culture with multi‑tenancy and observability.
