Indra Group is looking for a Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Simulation Engineer to develop SSA algorithms, perform orbital mechanics analyses, and build end-to-end simulation environments for space surveillance and tracking applications.

You will design and execute simulation workflows, validate performance, and contribute to AI and digital twin initiatives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across national and international projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of SSA algorithm development experience including sensor simulation and KPI analysis.
• Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics and end-to-end simulation workflows.
• Experience with numerical methods, stochastic modelling, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with CCSDS standards and event-driven or time-step simulations.
• Experience with sensor modelling including noise, detection thresholds, FOV, and observation uncertainties.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain SSA algorithms for sensor simulation, object cataloguing, and KPI analysis.
• Design, execute, and improve end-to-end simulation workflows for space surveillance and tracking applications.
• Perform orbital mechanics analyses, numerical modelling, and stochastic performance assessments.
• Support system validation, verification, and performance analysis activities through simulation environments.
• Develop software solutions and simulation capabilities using modern programming languages and engineering tools.
• Contribute to advanced technologies such as AI, digital twins, and high-availability systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and improve simulation architectures and operational concepts.
