Job summary

Indra Group is seeking a Senior Software System Architect to lead system specification, architecture, and design for space software systems. The role focuses on Linux-based Java development, database design, and DevOps practices within mission‑critical projects for aerospace.

You will guide multi‑disciplinary teams, drive CI/CD, and implement scalable data platforms while collaborating on innovative AI, cybersecurity, and big data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline with a software specialization.
• At least 5 years of experience in system specification, architecture, design, validation and acceptance.
• Strong experience in Linux-based Java development.
• Proven SQL database design and deployment experience.
• Ability to gather requirements and design architectures from scratch or from legacy systems.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Define and capture system requirements and translate them into robust software architectures.
• Lead the specification, architecture, design, validation, and acceptance of complex software systems.
• Develop and maintain software solutions in Linux environments using Java.
• Design, deploy and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Contribute to scalable apps using Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
