Akamai is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for its Guardicore Data and AI Platform Team. You will own reliability and performance of a cloud-native platform handling analytics and AI-driven features.

The role involves operating secure Kubernetes infrastructure, driving reliability, and guiding cross-functional teams in DevOps, Software, Data, AI and Security. You will leverage AI and automation to reduce incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to long-term improvements,

Formación

• 3+ years of SRE/DevOps experience with complex system architectures.
• Design and implement observability strategy using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and cloud providers (GCP/Azure/Linode/AWS).
• Strong troubleshooting across network, system, applications, and database layers.
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Scripting/programming in Python, Go, and Bash.
• Leverage AI tools to automate operations and drive improvements.
• Technical leadership and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Operate secure, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for core services and data pipelines.
• Enhance platform reliability, observability, security, performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide guidance to engineers to improve service performance and confidence.
• Lead complex production investigations and drive long-term improvements.
• Utilize AI-driven automation to auto-remediate incidents and streamline operations.
• Collaborate across DevOps, Software, Data, AI and Security teams to troubleshoot problems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and guide incident restoration.
