Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) invites applications for a Research Engineer specializing in speech large language models. You will join the AI Institute's Speech Team, working in a cutting-edge HPC environment on deep learning for ASR, TTS and LLMs.

We seek a candidate with a master's in electronic engineering, CS or mathematics and at least two years of ML and DL experience, plus Linux, Python, and open-source software skills. English communication is essential.

Formación

• Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics or related, with specialization in speech processing and recognition.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in machine learning.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in deep learning frameworks and the relevant area(s).
• Proficient in Linux, Python and deep learning libraries; experience with git.
• Ability to access and evaluate scientific literature.
• Experience developing open-source software and resources.

Responsabilidades

• Participation in current projects related to speech technologies, including research, documentation and deliverables.
• Design and develop innovative modules for speech large language models.
• Design and develop speech synthesis modules.
• Preparation and presentation of scientific articles.
• Supervision of junior research engineers.
• Participation in internal group meetings and other scientific discussions
