Barcelona Supercomputing Center in Barcelona is seeking a Research Engineer to contribute to the EVELYN project, focusing on multimodal language models for science within a high-performance computing environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in ML, 2 years in DL frameworks and 1 year in LLMs, plus strong English communication. You will work in a dynamic ML team and collaborate with international partners.

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computational linguistics, Physics, Mathematics or related.
• At least 2 years of machine learning experience.
• At least 2 years of deep learning framework experience.
• At least 1 year of LLM experience.
• Proficient in Linux, Python, DL libraries, Git and HuggingFace.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in EVELYN research with tasks like research, documentation and deliverables.
• Develop and train multimodal language models.
• Process multimodal data for evaluation and experiments.
• Prepare and present scientific articles.
• Supervise junior research engineers and contribute to group meetings.
