Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) in Valencia is seeking a Specialist - Securities Transaction Services to support the day-to-day operations of the Custody function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of securities and derivatives transactions while maintaining client service, control and risk management.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to manage transaction processing, corporate actions and income events, while serving as a subject matter expert for complex

Qualifications

• University degree in Banking/ Finance / Accounting or similar.
• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
• Very good computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
• Understanding the banking industry and the Custody business.
• Customer focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Booking and validation of securities (DVP/FOP) and derivatives transactions.
• Processing of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions.
• Processing of dividends, interest payments and complex complaints.
• Provide / set up control reports / client reports.
• Take-over of complex inquiries and project activities / project leadership.
• Active participation in process changes and adaptations.
• Point of escalation.

Role Summary:
As a Specialist - Securities Transaction Services at Apex Group, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operational activities of the Custody function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of securities and derivatives transactions. The role is responsible for maintaining high levels of client service, operational control, and risk management while contributing to process improvements and departmental initiatives.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparts, you will manage transaction processing, corporate actions, and income events, while acting as a subject matter expert for more complex queries and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking and validation of securities (DVP/FOP) & validation of derivatives transactions
• Processing of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions
• Processing of dividends, interest payments and complex complaints
• Provide / setup control reports / client reports
• Take-over of complex inquiries, complex project activities/project leader
• Active participation in process changes and adaptations
• Point of escalation

Skills & Experience needed:

• University degree in Banking/ Finance /Accounting or similar.
• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
