Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) in Valencia is seeking a Junior Depositary Support Officer to safeguard Alternative Investment Funds and contribute to regulatory compliance with precision and a collaborative mindset. This permanent role involves supporting the depositary team to ensure accurate oversight and cross-border service delivery.

As part of the Depositary team you will perform quarterly reconciliations, review valuation evidence, confirm asset ownership, and ensure ledgers are reconciled

Formación

• Graduation in Finance or Business Administration.
• Autonomous and solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent communication in English (B2 level).
• Good understanding of the Depositary business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of product range and operational processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and review quarterly bank and capital account reconciliations between the depositary and the AIFs.
• Obtain and review evidence in support of the independence and qualification of the investment valuation process.
• Ensure and evidence that the company has ownership of assets.
• Ensure that investment ledgers are reconciled and updated with the company's AIF.

Role Summary:
Join Apex Group as a Depositary Support Officer and play an important role in helping to safeguard and oversee Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail, an interest in financial services, and a collaborative mindset.

Working as part of the Depositary team, you will support a range of oversight and asset verification activities, helping to ensure that fund operations are accurately monitored and compliant with regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate with colleagues across different teams, gain exposure to the alternative investment industry, and contribute to delivering a high-quality service to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform and review : quarterly bank and capital account reconciliations between the depositary and the AIFs.
• Obtain and review evidence in support of the independence and qualification of the investment valuation process.
• Ensure and evidence that the company has ownership of assets.
• Ensure that investment ledgers are reconciled and updated with the company's AIF.

Skills & Qualifications needed:

• Successful graduation in preferably Finance/ Business Administration.
• Autonomous and solution oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level as minimum).
• Good understanding of the Depositary business.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong understanding of product range and operational processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
