CloudPay in Barcelona is hiring a Spanish Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll processing and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with Operations, validate inputs, and resolve discrepancies to deliver accurate monthly payrolls.

The role requires strong knowledge of Spanish payroll legislation and reporting, plus proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Apps. Hybrid work is offered with occasional in-office collaboration in Barcelona.

Formación

  • Extensive hands-on experience managing end-to-end Spanish payroll processing.
  • Deep understanding of Spanish payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with benefits-in-kind, flexible remuneration, stock options/RSUs, and non-resident employee scenarios.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Spanish and English (min English level: B2).
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, email systems, and Google Apps.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing according to the monthly payroll calendar, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Operations to validate and reconcile payroll inputs and reports.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies prior to processing and review outputs for accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare and upload monthly payroll reports to the CloudPay platform.
  • Handle communications related to Spanish Social Security via SILTRA, CONTRAT@, CERTIFIC@, and DELTA.
  • Oversee monthly Social Security contribution submissions and address delays.
  • Coordinate the calculation and submission of tax declarations to AEAT (models 111, 216, 190, 296, 345).
  • Support payroll testing and parallel runs for new client implementations or system changes.
  • Work with Implementation to transition new payroll accounts to in-house team.
  • Contribute to setup and configuration validations to ensure client information is complete for payroll delivery.
