Job summary

Linklaters is seeking a Spain-qualified Support Lawyer to join our Transactional team. The role will provide broad paralegal support across our practice groups in Madrid from the UK, and is a part-time position with the potential to go full time if workload permits.

The successful candidate will have 1+ years' experience in Real Estate, Banking or Capital Markets, excellent communication, and strong commercial judgement.

Qualifications

• Spain-qualified Support Lawyer with 1+ years in Real Estate, Banking or Capital Markets.
• Excellent communication with collaborative and pragmatic approach.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to ask questions when needed.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Thorough, proactive, detail-oriented and delivery-focused.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transaction support, liaising with clients, lawyers, and third parties to ensure timely execution.
• Manage document checklists, monitor deadlines, and act as central contact for stakeholders.
• Assist with due diligence, record management and transaction bibles with emphasis on accurate documentation.
• Oversee completion processes and maintain up-to-date records.
• Address client and internal queries and provide regular transaction progress updates.
