Job summary

Livensa Living in Madrid seeks an in-house Lawyer (Transactions) to join its international Legal Team. You will support M&A, financing, development and other transactional matters across the group. Requirements include a law degree and 3–5 years' experience from a top law firm or multinational.

Fluent English and Spanish are essential; German and/or Italian are a plus. You will draft, review and negotiate transaction documents and provide post-closing support.

Qualifications

• Law degree is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience at a leading law firm or multinational.
• Experience in M&A, corporate real estate, financing and cross-border transactions.
• Fluent English and Spanish; German and/or Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support on M&A, financing, development and other transactional matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents, including NDAs, exclusivity agreements, NBOs/BOs, SPAs, financing, construction and management agreements.
• Provide post-closing legal support to business teams, including compliance with transaction documents and enforcement of rights.
• Contribute to the establishment and improvement of legal processes, legal technology and AI tools.
• Support the Legal Department on a broad range of matters in a fast-growing international business.

We are looking for an In-house Lawyer (Transactions) who, based in Madrid, will provide legal support to the different internal stakeholders across M&A, development, financing and other transactional matters, as part of the group’s Legal Team in a truly international environment.

Responsibilities

• Support on M&A, financing, development and other transactional matters.
• Support on drafting, reviewing and negotiation of transaction documentation, including NDAs, exclusivity agreements, NBOs, BOs, sale and purchase agreements, financing agreements, construction agreements and management agreements.
• Provide post-closing legal support to business teams, including compliance with transaction documents, post-closing obligations and enforcement of rights under transaction documents.
• Contribute to the establishment and improvement of legal processes, legal technology and AI tools.
• Support the Legal Department on a broad range of matters in a fast-growing international business.

Requirements

• Law degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience gained at a leading law firm and/or multinational company.
• Experience in M&A and corporate real estate transactions, financing and cross-border transactions.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken. German and/or Italian language skills will be positively valued.
