Job summary

HSBC in Spain seeks a Network Markets Specialist to support mandates, signature verification and regulatory reporting within the COO – Network Markets team. You will focus on the Spanish legal framework, powers of attorney, and verification across HSBC entities worldwide.

You will process mandates, verify authorities, and assist with SEPBLAC reporting (FTF, Model 196, Model 291) while strengthening internal controls and coordinating with stakeholders across lines of business and regions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law or equivalent.
• High level of Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• 2 years’ experience in legal, banking, operations or regulatory reporting roles.
• Strong attention to detail with complex documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process and review mandates, deeds, signatures and Powers of Attorney under Spanish law.
• Verify signing powers and faculties of signatories for complex structures.
• Provide support to HSBC entities worldwide and act as liaison for verification queries.
• Prepare and submit SEPBLAC regulatory reports (FTF, Model 196, Model 291).
• Maintain records and uphold internal controls and compliance.
