Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Madrid is seeking a Regulatory Operations Associate to support Payments regulatory reporting. You will manage intake requests for new and revised regulations, assess impact, and ensure compliance in a standardized way.

Joining the Global Regulatory Operations team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, perform weekly scanning of developments, and help deliver key metrics and knowledge base updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in regulatory reporting or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Payments products and related regulations (DGSD, PSD2).
• Excellent attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with global partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly scanning of regulatory developments and identify applicable regulations.
• Interpret new and revised regulations and assess impact to the Payments business.
• Analyze cross-Product impact and implications of new product offerings on regulatory reporting.
• Review intake submissions for completeness and applicability within scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and transition to delivery teams.
• Manage stakeholders and lead effective meetings.
