Job summary

Chubb European Group in Spain is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Coordinator to manage Safety, Health, and Risk Management programs in line with Spanish regulations. You will conduct inductions, perform risk assessments, and promote a preventive culture while collaborating with internal teams and external providers.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's and Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention with specialization in Safety, Ergonomics and Psychosocial Risks, plus 2–3 years in a similar

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) and a Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. Specialisation in Occupational Safety & Ergonomics and Psychosocial Risks required
• Certifications in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role
• Strong knowledge of Spanish health & safety regulations is mandatory
• Good commands with MS Office, AI and computer tools; Excel commands are highly appreciated

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with Spanish regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections, identifying hazards and implementing preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and resolve issues while maintaining high standards
• Deliver health and safety training programs and support teams with customer service and value analysis of safety initiatives
• Lead awareness campaigns, safety committees, and emergency preparedness exercises
• Collaborate as a trusted business partner with internal teams and external service providers
• Optimize resource planning to maximize results and manage time and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Support asset utilization and cost control by managing resources efficiently and minimizing losses
