Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Harness / Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to define end-to-end harness manufacturing and integration processes for Spacecraft AIT. You will work with Engineering to ensure feasible designs, prepare manufacturing documentation, and support shopfloor activities across breadboards, Qualification and Flight Models.

A hybrid model is possible depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a production environment, preferably related to Space products.
• Knowledge of ECSS, ESCC and MIL standards is required.
• Proficient in clear manufacturing documentation and instructions.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize the manufacturing and integration process for electrical harness activities, including build process, work sequence, process flow, lead times and constraints.
• Concur with Engineering during development to ensure feasibility and compatibility with the industrial system.
• Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Dossier and work preparation documentation (Procedures, Work Orders, BOM, instructions).
• Provide technical support to Production and AIT teams during shopfloor execution and during launch campaigns at customer sites or spaceports.
• Drive industrial performance, analyze manufacturing technologies, and ensure quality, PFMEA and health & safety compliance.
• Contribute to project industrial planning, bids, costs and schedule inputs, and asset specification.
