Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid is seeking a Thermo-Mechanical AIT Manufacturing Engineer to integrate and industrialize space hardware across multiple programs. You will work in a cross-functional team to define MBOMs, assembly procedures and processes for on-site manufacturing, ensuring quality and traceability for spacecraft subsystems.

We value 3–5 years in AIT/Manufacturing Engineering, CATIA and DDMS tooling, plus fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelors or Master in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in AIT/space manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and documentation (MBOM, Work Orders).
• Proactive problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Concur with engineering domains to ensure feasible industrial designs.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for AIT activities.
• Define MBOM and material requirements for supply chain.
• Support shop-floor execution during breadboarding, qualification and flight model activities.
• Provide technical input for budget and cost-improvement initiatives.
