Job summary

Arkadia Space in Castellón, Spain, is seeking a Public Funding & Grants Manager to lead competitive funding proposals and provide the technical and financial justification of awarded projects, spanning R&D and capital investments.

You will oversee the full grant lifecycle from evaluating calls to project closure, monitor milestones and budgets, coordinate tax incentive claims, and collaborate with technical, financial and management teams to ensure compliance and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in public funding for R&D, innovation and/or productive investment.
• Ability to interpret funding guidelines, evaluation criteria and eligibility rules.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication and reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating budgets and project documentation across teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse national and European public funding calls for R&D, innovation and capital investment, assessing eligibility and requirements.
• Lead the development of competitive funding proposals, coordinating technical contributions and defining project objectives.
• Draft, structure and review technical proposals and supporting documentation in line with requirements.
• Coordinate budgets with Finance and technical teams, ensuring consistency with investment plans and eligibility rules.
• Manage proposal submission processes, including compliance matrices and final quality checks.
• Monitor awarded projects against commitments, tracking milestones, budgets and reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate R&D tax deduction processes and supporting documentation with Finance and advisers.
• Lead the technical and financial justification of awarded projects, ensuring compliance and traceability.
