Arkadia-Space, based in Castellón, seeks a Systems Engineer for Propulsion Systems to mature propulsion products from concept to flight. You will shape cross-project tools and collaborate with engineers, customers, and suppliers to ensure coherence across the product range.

This high-impact role involves defining design rules, managing technical budgets, and contributing to reviews and test campaigns. You’ll work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting with strong emphasis on documentation

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering for space systems.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of design rules, sizing, budgets and margins.
• Knowledge of product management and development cycles.
• Knowledge of launch manuals and/or range safety.
• Familiarity with documentation and review processes.
• Experience with requirements management.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain the design rules for all propulsion systems.
• Define and maintain the high-level requirements system, including cross-project applicability.
• Ensure compliance with authorities such as launch and range safety.
• Manage high-level technical budgets (definition and methods).
• Coordinate product assurance tasks and documentation.
• Create operations manuals and system-level documentation (FMEA or RAMS).
• Define interfaces across internal products for system-level compatibility.
• Coordinate and own system design tasks to comply with commercial contracts.
• Support manufacturing, integration and test campaigns.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout development lifecycle.
• Contribute to customer technical discussions and design reviews.

About the Position

As aSystemsEngineer for Propulsion Systemsat Arkadia, you will play a key role in defining and maturing propulsion productsand technologiesfrom concept to qualificationand flight.

You willbe responsible fordefining andmaintainingthecross-product and cross-project tools and technologies that will enable the design engineers to build propulsion systems for commercial contracts.Occasionallyyou will support the product and project development directly, in design, analysis, test campaigns and/or project milestone reviews.

This is a high-impact role where your decisions influence real hardware, realcampaignsand real missions, across the entire product range.

You will work in close coordination withvariousproduct experts and project engineers,as well ascustomersandsuppliers to ensure technical and programmatic coherence.

What you'll be doing

• Define andmaintainthe design rules for all propulsion systems.
• Define andmaintainthe high-level requirements system,includingcross-project applicability and flow-down toproducts.

What you'll need

• Hands-onexperience in system design.
• Knowledge of US Range Safety requirements.
