Huawei Barcelona, líder global en ICT, busca un Solar Service Engineer para unirse a su equipo en Catalunya. Se requieren conocimientos en instalación, puesta en marcha de estaciones transformadoras, inversores y sistemas de monitorización, con capacidad para viajar hasta 70% y trabajar bajo presión.

Se valorará experiencia en servicios técnicos o campo, lectura de esquemas eléctricos y mecánicos, y habilidades de análisis y comunicación.

Formación

• Se requiere título en Ingeniería eléctrica, IT, Mecánica, Automática o energías renovables.
• Más de 1 año de experiencia en servicio técnico o ingeniería de campo.
• Buena capacidad analítica, atención al detalle y buenas habilidades de comunicación.
• Lectura e interpretación de esquemas eléctricos/electrónicos y dibujos mecánicos.

Responsabilidades

• Instalación e instrucción de clientes/instaladores, asegurando instalación segura y correcta.
• Puesta en marcha de estaciones transformadoras/inversores y configuración de sistemas Huawei.
• Instrucción sobre monitoreo y uso del sistema, asegurando funcionamiento.
• Solución de fallas remotas o in situ y reemplazo de hardware si es necesario.
• Mantenimiento preventivo y exportación de registros de inversores.

Responsibility

• Installation Instruction: Provide installation training to customer/installer, ensure all the Huawei equipment would be installed safely, reliably and properly.
• Transformer Station / Inverter Commissioning Instruction: Instruct the customer/installer to power on and configure the transformer station / inverter, ensure the Huawei equipment running normally.
• Monitoring System Operation Instruction: Instruct the customer/installer on how to build and use the Huawei monitoring system, ensure the communication and monitoring functions can work normally, and be clear for customer to operate.
• Troubleshooting to malfunctioned equipment: Locate the fault by remote support or on-site service, instruct the customer/ maintenance personnel get the faulty equipment recovery.
• Hardware replacement: Disassemble the faulty equipment, install the replacement and make it run normally, return the faulty equipment to Huawei.
• Preventive Maintenance: Routine maintenance triggered by Huawei, such as testing performance of solar system, checking historical alarms, checking the reliability of cable connection and exporting inverter logs etc.

Professional Knowledge

• Good communication skills with customer, teamwork spirit; tough and able to work under pressure, good professionalism, hard-working, strong execution, good learning ability;
• Ability to travel up to 70%,
• Need contact the China R&D center colleagues, English and local language is must, Mandarin is a plus ;
• AC/DC Power Conversion and Control experience;
• Knowledge of Mechanical principles, electronics and AC/DC power distribution;
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits;
• Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics and mechanical drawings;
• Ability to configure and repair communication hardware and software;
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 70lbs.

Business Skills

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineer, information technologies, Mechanical Engineers, Automatic Control Engineering, Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy, etc ;
• >1 year of experience in technical service or field engineering background with on-site experience;
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and strong communication skills;
• Experience in PV inverter or storage industry will be an advantage.
