Siemens Energy S.A. Madrid seeks a Software Implementation Trainee to support the design and testing of controllers for hybrid power plants.

You will collaborate with developers via Microsoft Teams and meet with your supervisor to plan objectives, contributing to integrating renewables and storage into the grid. You’ll develop testing tools to verify grid-code compliance, generate controller models in MATLAB/Simulink, and design HIL test protocols.

Formación

• Background in Electrical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of power system control.
• Programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink or similar languages.

Responsabilidades

• Develop testing tools to verify compliance with grid code specifications.
• Generate tools for creating controller models in different programming languages.
• Design test protocols to be implemented using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) methodologies.
• Manage and improve software architecture and documentation for various tools and codebases.
