Alpega, based in Sant Cugat, Spain, is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join the Carrier Products Team and contribute to core product development. You will participate in all phases from analysis to production release and collaborate within an agile environment.

You should have 4-6 years of Java and Spring experience, REST API development, and a strong focus on code quality, testing, and architecture in an international setting. We offer a hybrid model and permanent contract.

Formación

• 4-6 years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with dependency management tools.
• Experience working and developing REST API's.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, Git.
• Experience using Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing methodologies.
• High standards for code quality.
• A proactive person that is looking forward to learning and growing in an international work environment.
• Fluent in Spanish & English.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in all the phases of the project, from the technical analysis up to the release into production.
• Design, operate, and maintain new and current solutions in an Agile environment to continuously deliver value to customers.
• Drive the software quality, security, and performance through unit, functional, and performance tests.
• Support continuous improvements of the team and the development environment.
• Contribute to technical discussions and actively participate in the architectural decisions of the team.

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer. This role is for our Carrier Products Team and will be part of the core Product development team, based in Sant Cugat, Spain. You will be working on a large and capable team dedicated to the maintenance and development of the Alpega Marketplace products .
