Alpega is seeking a seasoned Backend Developer for the Carrier Products Team, based in Sant Cugat, Spain. You will participate in all project phases—from analysis to production—designing, operating, and maintaining scalable solutions in an Agile environment to deliver value to customers.

We are looking for 4-6+ years of Java/Spring experience, REST API development, and strong testing, with Spanish and English fluency.

• Experience with dependency management tools.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and Git.
• Experience using Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing methodologies.
• High standards for code quality.
• Proactive and eager to learn in an international environment.
• Fluent in Spanish & English.

Responsabilidades

• Drive software quality, security, and performance via unit, functional, and performance tests.

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer. This role is for our Carrier Products Team and will be part of the core Product development team, based in Sant Cugat, Spain. You will be working on a large and capable team dedicated to the maintenance and development of the Alpega Marketplace products.

About The Role

• You will participate in all the phases of the project, from the technical analysis up to the release into production.
• Will design, operate, and maintain new and current solutions in an Agile environment to continuously deliver value to customers.
• Drive the software quality, security, and performance through unit, functional, and performance tests.
• Support continuous improvements of the team and the development environment.
• Contribute to technical discussions and actively participate in the architectural decisions of the team.

What We're Looking For

• 4-6+ years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
