Job summary

Zoi is expanding across Europe and seeks engineers to transform manufacturing and retail enterprises using AI-first strategies. The role involves working with cloud platforms, architecture design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable solutions.

You will shape automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A flexible, globally distributed environment supports remote work from various locations,

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expert in at least one programming language and design patterns.
• Strong inclination toward domain-driven design and architectural modeling.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch).
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• In customer workshops, analyze challenges and translate into qualified concepts for cross-functional teams.
• Advise on software and cloud architecture for scalable applications (e.g., serverless).
• Contribute as an active team member, bringing structure and new perspectives to projects.
• Incorporate automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code into solutions.
• Prepare results in a clear, structured manner and tell compelling, target-group stories.

In customer workshops, you analyze the challenges of our customers and transfer these into qualified concepts for our cross-functional teamIn customer projects, you advise on specific questions regarding software and cloud architecture for the development of scalable applications, e.g. serverless architecturesAs an impulse generator and active team member, you enrich existing topics and tasks and help to adopt new perspectivesYou bring structure to complex contexts and processes in our projects and involve the entire team in the processYour solutions take modern automation, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code into accountYou prepare your work results in a comprehensible, structured and reliable manner and apply target group-oriented storytelling techniques in your communication

WHO YOU ARE:

Your very good knowledge of the cloud of AWS/Azure/Google and ideally their IoT solutions convince usYou are an expert in at least one programming language and you are well versed in software patterns in design & conceptionYou have a strong desire to apply methodological knowledge such as domain-driven designYou have experience with modeling tools for software architectures like UML and ERD / ERMYour good knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, ...) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, ...) is synergetically complemented by basic knowledge of ElasticSearchYou face problems in a responsible and solution-oriented way, you show initiative and is a fair team playerExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Good German and English skills complete your profile
