Job summary

Zoi offers AI-driven solutions to transform manufacturing and retail across Europe, with roles in Barcelona and other cities. We seek a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to lead design, implementation, and governance of scalable, secure cloud platforms. You will mentor teams and collaborate with C-level stakeholders.

You will work across multi-cloud environments, optimize costs, and advance our modernization journey with modern IaC and CI/CD practices, while communicating in English and German.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect with leadership experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud architecture, Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible required.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security governance, IAM, and Zero-Trust principles.
• Proficiency in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain multi-cloud AWS infrastructure that is highly available and recoverable.
• Evaluate client constraints to propose modernization paths.
• Drive FinOps through cost analysis, tagging, monitoring and sizing standardizations.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, Zero-Trust, landing zones and compliance guardrails.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Integrate deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and advise senior leadership to drive technical excellence.

WHAT YOU DO

• Design, scale, and maintain complex multi-cloud and AWS infrastructure solutions that are highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-recoverable.
• Evaluate client constraints, such as legacy systems and security policies, to propose optimal modernization paths.
• Drive cost optimization and FinOps by analyzing architecture patterns, setting up tagging models, continuous monitoring, and resource sizing standardizations.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, Zero-Trust network design, landing zones, account hierarchy models, and compliance guardrails.
• Automate cloud provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Integrate cloud deployment pipelines with modern CI/CD toolchains such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Act as a trusted technical leader and advisor to senior engineering leaders and C-level stakeholders, while mentoring cross-functional implementation teams to foster technical excellence.

WHO YOU ARE

• Proven background as a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect with strong experience in technical leadership and advisory roles.
• Must-have hands-on mastery of AWS cloud architecture, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and governance practices, including IAM, Zero-Trust architecture, Landing Zone setups, and compliance guardrails.
• Nice-to-have experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure) and navigating complex enterprise IT landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and German.
